You can contact the state medical board, the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, or the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery to double check a surgeon’s credentials. Don’t be fooled, a “cosmetic surgeon” may not be a plastic surgeon!
